This weeks marketing

Another week goes by and I must say that my marketing efforts were rather poor. Purchased new ebook about an online lead generation system and I must say that for first half of the book was initially unimpressed, then it goes on to explain how to target leads that are interested in your opportunity and Wow , that really hit home.

I have both the mike dillard and Ann Seig attraction marketing methods which i must say i really do like, but the one thing they are lacking is a specific method for finding these targeted leads thats where this ebook super sneaky lead generation came into play with a clear cut method of how to find, contact and follow up with these leads. I highly recommend this ebook for anyone looking into finding targeted leads.

Have not posted any articles this week and as a result my traffic has slowed a little. Still posting to free traffic system which gets my articles on up to 30 different blogs. This link building system of posting with free traffic system is fantastic, however my advice to anyone would be to target long tail keywords with as little competition as possible this will enable you to gain good page ranking in a shorter amount of time.

One of my most targeted methods for traffic seems to be forums, I highly recommend the warrior forum and site point forum, using a signature in each forum always attracts some targeted views to my webpages.

This week has been an eventful week, trying to follow 30 day guide for 4 blogs is taking up a lot of my time. At present just posting to blogs and article directories with links back to my blogs and websites. As well as bookmarking these articles. Checking stats majority of traffic has been through article directories and forums. Have been posting on forums like warrior forums and have had a surprising amount of views from other warriors.

Have had a couple of views from bookmarking services. Posted my first video with traffic geyser, have seen no huge increase in traffic and no sales so i cant say my first video has been a huge success. Will try affiliate videos ( see post earlier this week) and see how their video marketing goes.

Ads and Cash is on top of my list even though i have done no marketing just being a pro member gets my ads rotated on their high traffic sites and have resulted in 3 sign ups this week which i consider good since I have not had time to promote them whatsoever.

Marketing efforts week ending 19/04/09

Have been flat out on computer this week following Dee's 30 day guide to making money online. It's taking me a bit longer as i'm doing four blogs at once and i'm about 17 days behind.

Looking good so far is a lot of work though. Have posted about 12 articles this week and approx 20+ blog posts. Traffic is steadily picking up. Think I mentions vinefire.com a text link exchange, is a little addictive but i had some good sign ups and traffic for some of my free programs.

Auction site selling my SEO service is starting to bloom, only a couple of days and already a few enquiries, but no sales as yet.

Have also posted 6 ads with USAFREEADS, and 4 craiglist postings for my SEO service. Will keep you updated on the ad posting sites as this is first time i have used either of these two services.

Anyone have any news on craiglist like, what is best day to post? Any particular state or country better to post in than any other?

Would love to here from anyone with some good ideas.

Back From Easter Holidays

Hello all,

Hope everyone had a great Easter Holiday, except for the constant rain my holiday was great and I'm still on vacation YEAH!

Back on track today am a little bit behind with my marketing, up to day 13 of Dee's 30 day marketing course, seem to be getting a little traffic but no $ yet.

Only marketing have done is article marketing (see other post on article marketing tips) which seems to be bringing in the best results. Article Base, Ezine Articles and Isnare seem to be the best directories. Have just bought article submitter and will be trying that out and leaving a review for all to read.

One new site that will give you an instant flow of traffic, and apparently money but I'll believe that when I see it is Vinefire , by posting text ads within seconds I had 20 to 40 hits to my sites.
Personally I don't think it is worth promoting any aid products but free products most definitely.

Would love to hear any other marketing ideas about whats working out there or systems you would like me to try and review.

Another Day at the Safelists

ok , I gave Elite safelist and free safelist mailer another go on saturday and posted 25000 emails to free safelist mailer and 6000 to elite safelist and bingo elite safelist got me one signup in a free program. While one sign up is good it is not a fantastic result.

Meanwhile am still following Dee's 30 day guide to making money and will let you know the results in 30 days. Have posted free ebook for anyone interested in making $50 a day in 30 days, this will be my next project after finishing dee's 30 day program, which i must say kept me at it all weekend.

Have posted some articles as usual using my article method described elsewhere in this blog and also posted some articles to the free traffic system which posts my articles to 30 blogs sending me a huge amount of backlinks.

One sight that I did get several sign ups overnight but only dribbles since then was jointventureemails.com it cost me $9 to get 1000000 banner displays and several thousand banner displays and clicks and also 1000 paid to promote emails. Not bad sign up rate initially but has slowed down a bit. I will keep you informed on how this goes.

Well folks

Results are in for my safelist advertising with free safelist mailer and elite safelist, using a credit mailer I sent 41000 emails and recieved one free sign up.

Not a good ratio in my book, I will try one more time to give them a fair go and then those two list will be off my books.

30 Day Action Plan

I recently purchased the 30 day action plan by Dee Power, it is free for the first week and then $5 per week there after.
In my diary as usual I will be posting about my experience and how it rates each day.

Day1 goal is to find a niche that your interested in, best to pick something you have a little interest in and find a niche for that.

Since I already have two niches one is the offline niche and the other the work from home niche. These however are quite broad so I need to tighten them up a little and pick a focus group inside these niches.

For my offline niche I am going to focus on setting up websites for small local businesses and getting them to the top ranks of the search engines.

For my work at home business/niche I think I should concentrate on the newbie who wants to be taken by the hand marketer to learn how to make money online.

Third niche that I will market to is the cleaning niche for homes ie domestic/home cleaning niche

Fourth niche will be the golf focusing on the how to improve my game niche.

That seems like a lot, but lets see where Dee takes us from here.

Seems to me that Monday and Tuesday are the best day for email marketing campaigns, Watching my pay per click campaigns and always from sunday to monday there is a huge jump in the number of impressions sent out.

Have sent 35000 ads to FreeSafelistMailer and another 6000 ads via Elite safelist both are ranked by traffic Hoopla, so lets see how they do.

Marketing my online businesses

First of all I would like to talk about article marketing, I am a member of the warrior forum which if anyone is serious about online marketing I highly recommend you join.
The first steps I have taken to market my businesses is article marketing, so far I have written several articles myself but i have just employed a ghostwriter to write 15 articles for me. I am still waiting on the articles so will inform you of their quality and traffic generation when I recieve them.

To market my articles and get free traffic I am basically following the principles of a thread started on the warrior forum by Jeffrey louis. First off I have found my keywords after much research. If you would like an excellent resource for helping you find quality keywords without much competition you must get this cheap ebook by JJOrana.

Now to optimize your article with keywords you should pick the word you want to focus on and put it in the title. This keyword should also appear in the summary.
When writing the body of the article try to put the keyword in no more than a 1% ratio, what this means is if you have a 500 word article mention your keyword 5 times. The most important part of an article is the resource box, if you are focusing on one keyword it should be used as your anchor text. For your resource box dont just write " Jamie lovering is a success coach for more information click here" it is not very enticing and does not give readers much of an incentive to click through to your website or blog, which is the point of the article in the first place.

Try to make your resource box part of your story/article. This make people continue reading your article and assume your resource box is part of it and will be more likely to click on your links.

Once you have found your keywords and written your kick ass article next thing to do is to submit it, this is where I follow Jeffrey's advice. Join up with www.ezinearticles.com as they are one of the biggest article directories around and will give your articles lots of clout.

Submit your article here wait for it to be approved and then wait one week. After that week resubmit your article at a further 10 article directories including

4. Article Dashboard (articledashboard.com)
5. Buzzle (buzzle.com)

The only difference in your article being your resource box , have one link pointing to your website and the second link pointing to your original ezinearticle.com article. This should give your article so much clout it will rank on first page of google for your chosen keyword in no time at all.

After doing above I add my own spin by respinning my articles and posting them to up to 30 blogs this is all done for me on autopilot basically through the Free Traffic System , follow the same format use a link to my site I want to promote and a Link back to my original article. Now just rinse and repeat.

After months of learning online I have decided to promote just three businesses online.

They are Ads and Cash this site gives you free advertising and is an excellent way to build your list quickly and well. I mean who does not want free advertising.

Second program is the plug in profit system which is a complete ready made system all set up for the beginner to teach you how to make money online. They promote 6 different programs all designed to start earning you money fast.

Last but not least is the big money earner this is promoting my online marketing skills I have learnt in the above two businesses to help offline businesses take their business online. There are all sorts of services you can do for offline business, here is one that is an affiliate program and can earn you US$400 per sale.

In future post I will be discussing each step I make to promote each of these businesses. First post will be about article marketing.

Inexcusable

Hi all I'm back, sorry for the absence I have been caught up in the typical information overload that every newbie encounters online.
This wont happen again. I am back and after studying and learning as much as i can about online marketing over the last few months i have decided to use this blog as a diary for my online marketing efforts whether good or bad.

Hoping this will help keep my thoughts in order and maybe help any loyal followers I have out there in not committing some of the same mistakes that I made.
